WORLD OF WISDOM ZINGER - TRY
TRY
Some people get things done easily and fast, others don’t.
Some people are intelligent, others are creative.
Some people smile a lot, others frown a lot.
Some people are tall, others are short
Some people are fear less, others fear more
Some people are hard working, others are soft working
Some people are conquerors, others are conquered
Some people are very ambitious, others are steady
Some people are fun and interesting, others are boring
Some people are quick tempered, others are slow tempered
Some people are smart, others are slow
Some people are busy, others are lazy
Some people are wise, others are simple
Some people are rich, others are poor
Some people care, others careless
Some people win, others lose
Some people have courage, others are cowards
Some people are optimistic, others are pessimistic
Some people are ‘futuristic’, others are ‘pastristic’
Some people destroy, others build
Some people are curious, others are skeptical
Some people are knowledgeable, others are ignorant
Some people fight, others hide
Some people are useful, others are nonentity
Some people are generous, others are greedy
Some people are humble, others are arrogant
Some people are forgiving, others are vengeful
Some people are wise, others are foolish
There are numerous traits of people which make each one different and unique
But they all have one thing in common, ‘their state can be hidden’
Their state may become exposed only if they ‘TRY’ keeping their state
As unique as we all are, there is nothing which stops us from being more than just being unique or different
You can be anything you want or desire, except you TRY
‘Act the way you want to be and soon you will be the way you act’
Some people desire to be like others
Some people wish to look like others
Some people hope to have what others have
All their dreams end in the disappointment statement
‘How I wish I could look like……’
‘How I desire I could be like……’
‘How I hope I could get…..’
Must it always end this way?
We can be more than just being unique
The angry man who says ‘How I wish I were soft-tempered’ and does not do any thing about it is unwise
But the angry man who says ‘How I wish I were soft tempered’ and does something about it is wise
Try to do good and you will be better; Try to do better and you will be excellent
Try to be innovative and you will be a discoverer/originator
Try to smile always and you will find friends
Try to be curious and you will know
Try to know and you will understand try to win and you will be a better winner
Try to be ambitious and you will be satisfied
Try to be interesting and you will be interestingly loved
Try to be placid and you will placidly welcome trouble
Try to be smart and you will be smartly rewarded
Try to be useful and you will be usefully recognized
Try to be wise and you will be obeyed and listened to
Try to be rich and you would richly abound
Try to love and you would be lovingly remembered
Try to be courageous and you will courageously over come
Try to be caring and you will be caringly adored
Try to be optimistic and you will optimize your hopes
Try to build and you will be accepted
Try to know and you will b acknowledged
Try to be wise and you will be a wise counselor
Try to be forgiving, and you will have peace of mind
Try to be humble and you will be humbly lifted/ exalted
Try to be generous and you will be generously satisfied
Try to fight for what is right and you will be the right hero
Many martyrs and heroes you have seen or read about became who they are because they tried to make a difference
Kwame Nkrumah tried to fight for the freedom of Ghana and that of many other countries so he became a hero
Benjamin Banneker (1731), a free slave tried to prove the point that ‘What a white man can do, a coloured man can also do and do it better’
So he built what is believed to be the first clock made in the United States and he was celebrated
Jan Ernst Matzeliger, a black in the 19th Century, was fed up of wearing shoes which spoiled after using it a few days
So he invented a shoe-lasting machine and he is never forgotten
Elijah McCoy (1843-1929), the son of run away slaves tried to be useful to everyone
So he invented over 57 different things
So much so that his name became synonymous with ‘perfection’, ‘genuine’, ‘good’..e.t.c.
Nowadays, if anyone says he wants to ‘Real McCoy’, it means he/she wants the genuine, best of anything
I tried t be useful by putting some wisdom and here you are, so much glued to the wisdom.
You can’t imagine how much you can accomplish just about anything if you try
The Wright Bothers tried to fly so they made the aeroplane
You can do it if you really want to; but you must try…try ..and try…and try …and try,..you will succeed at last.(Jimmy Cliff)
There is no better way to conclude this.
